Vivekananda Pre University College was established 1965 by Vivekananda
Vidyavardhaka Sangha Puttur (R.) with the objective of imparting education to the students of rural and backward areas in and around Puttur.
The College aims at proper shaping of character and inculcating high sense of discipline among the students. Today, the college is identified as one of the best P. U. Colleges in the State in imparting quality education and bringing out the best academic performance from the students.
